When she visited home to find her family missing, Velocimancer enlisted the aid of the senior sorceress of her coven to discover their whereabouts. The sorceress’ scrying revealed only the remnant traces of gateways from Earth into what humans call the Lost Realms, where Vel’s Saurid people dwell. It seemed that many Saurids had been quietly spirited away in small groups over a period of several months. Sent into our world at her own request by the sorceress, she seeks her family and other missing Saurids… but has no idea where to start.
The move from the Lost Realms to Middletown has been quite the lifestyle change. She’s still figuring things out about our world, but she’s befriended a group of super-powered individuals who are helping her even as she helps them.
