Over the holidays I managed to carve out time to “finish” the MPGen tool by adding the ability to download a spreadsheet-based character sheet. The base sheet is of my own design and intended to be simple and compact and is therefore possibly not very pleasant to look at or useful. The official character sheet isn’t mine to use, so this was the solution I came up with.
However, for those who have spent the 2 bucks on the official Excel Record Sheet Pack (which, as I mention every time I get the chance, is awesome and more than worth the price of admission), there’s a tab where the generated results are placed such that they can be copy-pasted into the ERSP character sheet and have all the built-in calculations update correctly. There are some generic instructions for this on the 2nd tab of the downloaded sheet, and over time I plan to add a few posts here with specific demos of how to do it in different spreadsheet programs. As they’re added, they’ll be linked from over on the About MPGen page.
