Coyote and Crow One-shot Characters

Among the games I want to try running at least a few one-shots of in the not-too-distant future is Coyote and Crow. It’s set in a world where a natural disaster devastated the world before the European colonization of the Americas happened, so the cultures of the indigenous peoples of the continent were able to survive largely intact into modern times. It’s a fascinating setting that combines elements of SF and fantasy… and gives some love to the much-neglected D12!

This page is intended as an overview for players of the pre-rolled characters that will be available for the initial one-shot and probably any future ones. They’re the default ones provided with the Foundry edition of the game and feature a fairly well-balanced set of abilities. As usual, players are free to play these as any gender, sexuality, etc. they choose.

Ahanu

Ahanu is a Whisperer – a person whose main talents lie in their ability to influence others, but also a keeper of folklore. Ahanu can hold their own in combat situations but prefers to try talking things out first. Their presence can inspire their companions to greater performance in many situations.

Aten

As a Scout, Aten is a master of outdoor survival and tracking, skilled with the magbow, and able to move quietly without being seen.

Dezba

Dezba is a pilot and a war-club-swinging warrior who can launch into a fierce rage in battle.

Holata

Holata is a Seeker whose natural curiosity makes them an excellent investigator. They are skilled at controlling drones, and can meditate on a problem to improver their chance of finding a solution.

Jaya

As a Healer, Jaya is skilled in traditional medicine, but also has the ability to heal injuries with just a touch.

Kimi

A Tinkerer, Kimi specializes in computers and cybernetics and is something of a hacker. They are often able to gain sudden, keen insight about an opponent or situation.
