Edna Merple was thrilled when her small business, Busybody Cleaning Services, was awarded the contract to handle housekeeping at a local research lab, though she worried she’d need to take on an employee or two in order to keep up with the new work and still handle her existing clients.
But after a freak accident involving the accidental consumption of the contents a beaker containing an experiment in accelerating amoebic cell division, she found that her body could become elastic enough to absorb some degree of kinetic damage. What’s more, she could divide into multiple copies of herself (though she’ll only do so if there are spare clothes handy for them to put on… she carries a tote bag filled with neatly-folded “BB”-emblazoned dresses).
When people meet Busybody for the first time they often use “June Cleaver” or “Midwestern Housewife” as an adjective… but there’s a lot more to her than that.
(An NPC created to help with the PCs’ initial organization and recruitment. I engaged in a little stretching of the character creation rules in regards to her initial powers and point allocations, and to some degree she’s designed to be not a well-rounded character but a damage sponge to to be available if a scenario is underway where the players are getting too easily overwhelmed. The shorthand I used for some of the power & weakness descriptions probably also needs to be more detailed.)
