I mentioned a while back about a visit to a place south of Dover called Born to Game. Its gaming selection was Warhammer-, Pathfinder-, and card-game- heavy – none of which I’m presently into – and it was also a comic shop with a pretty good selection. (Sadly, I weaned myself off of regular comic collecting years ago when I sat down and figured out how much it was costing in an average month, even without any giant crossover events happening at the time…) It also had a large gaming space with multiple tables showing an assortment of terrains, which was what intrigued me most about the place; but it was a bit of a hike and I couldn’t see myself getting out there very often.
So imagine my surprise last week when I saw their logo over an unoccupied shop in a strip mall just a few miles from home! They’ll be opening their new location in just a few weeks and it looks, based on a few minutes spent loitering in front of the windows, as if the new place will be similar – games, comics, and a big play area. But this time it’s just a few doors down from the gym I manage to drag myself into at least a few times a month!
