Morumbar has pieced together that his parents were powerful wielders of white magic. He knows that when he was born so sickly that even with their powers they were unable to help him, they turned in desperation to darker arts to try to preserve his life. He guesses that his powers stem from those attempts.
The problem is, he can’t remember any of this. Or much of anything else from before about the year 2009 – eight years after his parents seemingly went missing.
His arcane cloud can wreak havoc among large groups of foes, but there’s a backlash – Morumbar feels the same fear his abilities generate in his opponents. He seldom uses it when not in the presence of his East Coast Protectors teammate Lumina, whose light powers can be used to bolster his resistance to his dark ones.
